Luau Committee
There is a special place within our ohana for non-dancers. In fact, a majority of Ensemble's campus involvement is made possible by those behind the scenes! Having the support of these members as we prepare for our key events is what allowed our organization to thrive in prior years. From reservations, venue set-up, hosting, music booth, luau management, and itinerary planning, there are many opportunities for members to be involved.
Who We Are
This committee is perfect for those seeking active membership without necessarily having to join dances - though you are always encouraged to dance with us! It is also a way to donate your time and energy through community service. The committee works closely with the President and Program Managers to pull off yet another annual luau/ho`ike.
Committee members attend brief meetings to assess tasks and preparations needed. Their main work happens during Hell Week (week of show) and during the event itself. Maximum number of committee members is 6 per academic year.

You helped make it possible! You can watch your friends perform for free, and even participate through hosting and music - or you can just reserve one of the best seats in the room.
Reduced Membership Dues
As official members of Hawaiian Ensemble, you would pay less than dancers and still receive the year's membership shirt.
Program Feature
All members of the Luau Committee are recognized in the annual brochures and programs.
